Girlfriend of supposedly rich bodybuilder falsely accuses police officer of sexual harassment

This is a very serious allegation which she retracted subsequently.

If you're not too caught up with S$10 pump man, you might have heard of a supposedly rich bodybuilder who wanted to "ruin the careers" of a Grab driver and a police officer.

The driver had refused to start the trip as he was worried that the bodybuilder's girlfriend was drunk and might vomit in his vehicle.

The incident occured on April 14, around 2.30am:

While Supposedly Rich Bodybuilder (SRB) eventually became contrite and said that he will apologise to the Grab driver and the team of police officers, he also maintained that the driver had made sexual comments towards his girlfriend, whom he calls Praise.

Girlfriend speaks up

After the incident blew up online, a forum user shared a screenshot of Praise's Instagram post.

She had written her version of the events and an added accusation that one of the officers had made similar sexual remarks as the driver (summary below):

Here's a summary what Praise wrote:

- Prior to boarding the cab, she had a martini. Her boyfriend, SRB, and at least one other male friend had a gin and tonic each.

- She was slightly incoherent.

- The Grab driver refused to take them on as passengers.

- SRB offered to pay the driver 100 times the value of the cab fare if she vomits (Praise apparently told him off the next day, teaching him that "money can't buy everything". Wise.)

- Driver started calling her a slut and saying how he would "touch her all over".

- They called the police, and a team of six officers (without name tags) arrived.

- Not only did they "side" with the driver, one of them even made similarly rude sexual remarks towards her.

- Praise then admitted that she used to sleep around, but it was not right of the driver and the police to make such remarks.

- She accused the officer of touching his loaded revolver and being "ready to do terrible things" because he was sexually aroused (the same move where SRB said was an act of threat).

- Although she says that his actions were "not right", she defends her boyfriend and pleads for others to stop talking about the incident.

Retraction of allegations

However, just 14 hours ago, Praise wrote another Instagram post retracting the very serious allegations she made towards the police officer.

She also apologised to the team:

The allegations towards the Grab driver were not addressed, but an eagle-eyed forum user pointed out that the license plate in Praise's post is different from the one in SRB's original post.

Praise's Instagram post detailing the accusations has also been deleted.

We have reached out to the Singapore Police Force for comments and will update this post if they reply.
