These days, Singapore is showing that it can be fun and liberal, which is coming quite a long way from once disallowing bar top dancing and bungee jumping.

Abseiling in the heartlands

Why?

Because abseiling off a block of HDB flats is now a real recreation thing, where anyone with enough number of limbs and an absence of fear of heights can participate in some of this buttocks-clenching excitement:

This newfangled activity organised at HDB blocks of flats island-wide is by the abseiling interest group at West Coast CC Youth Club.

The abseiling activities will be held every second Sunday of the month.

It will take place at various suitable locations in Singapore.

It is a People's Association initiative.

Not new though

However, abseiling off blocks of flats is not new though.

It has been publicised in 2016 and 2017 but is looking to get more prominent.
