A Singaporean woman believes her pet dog was killed after it was knocked down by an e-scooter.

In a Facebook post on April 22, the woman shared photos of her deceased dog and dried blood stains on the ground and drain cover where the dog was believed to have been hit.

Knocked down

The woman wrote that the incident occurred on April 21, at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 near Block 104 and 105.

The incident was believed to have occurred between 8pm and 9pm.

She also claimed that the e-scooter rider left the scene after the accident.

According to her, the dog died because of the high-speed impact.

The woman also shared photos of the accident site where red stains on the drain cover and ground are believed to be blood from her dog.

Appealing for witnesses

The dog owner also appealed for any witnesses who may have additional details on the accident.

She also wrote a note of caution to the rider:

"To the person who knock down my dog please be careful at night better dun anyhow ride your scooter too fast or stay too late outside again... i think is better for you to look behind than look in front because safer for you because my dog will come after you"

The woman did not respond to queries about whether her dog was left unattended in a public space by itself.

It is also not known if she made a police report.
