A 39-year-old Singaporean Barbie doll enthusiast has amassed over 10,000 dolls and counting.
Jian Yang's passion for dolls had caught the attention of international media.
Now, he's making headlines for his artistic talent: Making Barbie doll dresses out of tissue paper.
From coloured napkins to feather light kleenexes, Jian's craft turns everyday tissue into haute couture runway material.

Each dress is painstakingly made.
Here's one of the more complicated ones he crafted, using toilet paper and napkins arranged into a flowing dress that's completed with rosettes and a dramatic, Barbie-worthy bow:
Even the inspiration for the little accessories the dolls carry are ingenious, such as this beautiful hat which was actually made out of a cup cover:

Red Packet dresses
His nifty skills aren't limited to tissue paper.
Here are some gorgeous dresses and accessories Jian made out of angpao, which incorporates the motifs, graphics and illustrations on the red packets into these stunning dresses with an oriental flair.
This particular dress he made with Mamee Noodle red packet comes with a helping of the crispy noodle snack itself.
If Jian couldn't get any more talented, get this: He wove this tiny Bottega Veneta bag himself.
Besides making dresses out of ordinary materials, his next medium of choice is aluminium foil.
With the kind of talent and brilliance that comes with these dresses, we hope Mattel is taking note.
This is runway-worthy stuff we're seeing.
