The Court of Appeal has laid down its decision.
The six City Harvest convicts will continue serving the same shortened sentences they were first handed by the High Court.
Packed courtroom
The judgement was read out in a packed courtroom on Thursday morning, Feb. 1, 2018.
A panel of three High Court and two appeal judges decided they agreed that City Harvest founder Kong Hee and his five fellow church leaders were not acting as “agents” as defined in Section 409 of the Penal Code for criminal breach of trust.
