Dry, warm and occasionally windy conditions over Chinese New Year

As the region enters the dry phase of Northeast Monsoon season, it is expected to be dry, warm and occasionally windy in Singapore for the first half of February.

However, there could be short thundery showers in the afternoon on three to five days.

The occasional windy occasions are likely due to a weak monsoon surge which affects the South China Sea and surrounding region.

The daily temperatures for the first half of February are forecast to range between 24°C and 33°C, and could reach a high of around 34°C on a few days.

Sounds like it's gonna be terribly hot in the day though.
