A man in Guangxi, China, had one heck of a shitty night while he was out drinking with friends.
Not only did he drop his iPhone 8 into a squat toilet at a hotel, the toilet tried to claim his arm as well.
Not ready to let his iPhone go
According to local media, the man, surnamed Tan, accidentally dropped his smartphone into the squat toilet.
As he had paid 8,000 RMB (~S$1,680) for the device, he wasn't about to flush it away that easily.
He quickly got onto the ground and stuck his hand inside the toilet in an attempt to get it back.
However, even though he could touch the phone, he couldn't pull it out.
He then unwittingly nudged it deeper and deeper into the toilet, getting his arm stuck in the process.
