A total of 15 pedigree pets have been put up for adoption by Voices for Animals, an animal welfare organisation in Singapore that focuses on feeding, rescuing, and re-homing them: 

Pedigree cats (also known as purebred cats) are felines that have been through controlled breeding to attain specific, desirable characteristics.

All the cats have been sterilised, vaccinated, FIV/FELV (which are potentially fatal viruses that compromise a cat's immune system) tested, dewormed, and ensured of flea protection.

An adoption fee of S$250 applies to cover the above-mentioned medical procedures.

Serious and keen to adopt? Here's how:

1) Email [email protected] with a full introduction of yourself and your family. The VFA representative said any emails without sufficiently-detailed introductions will not be entertained.

2) All interested parties must ensure their homes are first cat-proofed (e.g. with the use of meshed windows or other methods to protect cats from escaping or falling out of windows), or else will not be permitted to adopt.

3) Private messages and enquiries will also not be entertained.

3) Only shortlisted applicants will receive a reply, in the form of a 13-page interview form.
