It's not the first time a high-end brand has designed something that's kitschy or cheap-looking.
But some items from Chanel's latest collection really hit the spot this time round, what with the cold rainy weather Singapore has been experiencing lately.
Here's a look at the items from the Spring/Summer 18 line, which are mostly made from PVC and white grosgrain (a heavy ribbed fabric of silk or rayon):
Hobo Bag in transparent PVC and grey leather:
Transparent headgear for when you can't decide if you want to wear a hat or not:
Boots that will show off your legs:
Word has it that these designs are "inspired by water", but we hope they will not cause a pool of boot sweat:
