A woman who had a close brush with a sexual predator on the bus is encouraging others in similar situations to speak up.
Although he did not harass her overtly, Jia Min's suspicions about the man was proven right when the bus stopped abruptly later on, much to the confusion of other passengers.
It turns out that the man had reportedly sexually harassed another woman on the lower deck of the bus, and the driver had alerted the police.
This is her Facebook post on the incident (translation below):

Translation of events
On Jan. 1, Jia Min boarded a largely unoccupied bus.
She was seated on the upper deck and placed the many bags she was carrying on the empty seat next to her.
However, when an Indian man boarded the bus, he sat next to her - despite the fact that there were plenty of other seats on the bus, and the fact that her bags were already on the seat.
When she removed her bags from the seat (out of courtesy, we presume), the man allegedly moved over immediately and leaned his leg against hers.
At this point, Jia Min exclaimed "Excuse me!".
The passenger behind them then offered to swap seats with her.
As Jia Min had difficulty getting out of her seat due to the bags, the passenger helped her with them.
A while later, the bus came to an abrupt halt at one of the stops.
Jia Min later learnt that the driver was waiting for the Singapore Police Force (SPF) as the man had molested a girl at the lower deck before going up to the upper deck of the bus.
She ends her post asking fellow women not to be afraid to shout for help when encountering such situations.
