Aussino, a bed, bath and bedding store, disappeared from Singapore in early 2014.

Its physical stores closed down island-wide, and its products were no longer available.

The last post on the Aussino Singapore Facebook page was on Feb. 20, 2014, and has not been updated, with Singaporeans demanding to know where the brand went.

Aussino is back

Aussino lovers can rejoice though.

In a Jan. 26, 2018 press release, Aussino announced that it has returned to Singapore after a four-year absence.

The new concept store opened at HarbourFront Centre the day the press release was sent out.

This is the post on their new Facebook page:

Under a new company

The return to Singapore was prompted by overwhelming response, according to Aussino.

An Aussino spokesperson told Mothership.sg that the brand has quite a solid fan base in here:

"Over the past few years, there has been overwhelming and incessant requests made by many Singaporeans to bring the brand back to SG. So, Aussino is back again!"

So why did Aussino close back then? The spokesperson said that they do not know the reason the operations were closed down.

However, Mothership.sg understands that Aussino International Pte Ltd is the new company authorised as the distributor of the Aussino brand, which makes this company different from the previous one that was in charge of Singapore's operations back in 2014.

Aussino International Pte Ltd is the new company authorised as a sole exclusive distributor of Aussino brand for Southeast Asia by Aussino USA Inc.

The spokesperson also revealed that there are future plans to set up six to seven stores island-wide before 2019.
