Before 2017 is up, another drama is playing out on social media:

On Dec. 31, 2017, Melody Yap (a.k.a LadyIronChef/ Brad Lau's wife) shared her screenshot of her friend's Tinder date experience with a Singaporean guy, whom we are calling "W" for the purpose of this post.

The purpose of her post is to serve as a cautionary tale.

Went "apeshit" after rejection

Tinder horror stories are aplenty, but this one probably takes the cake.

When Yap's friend rejected W after the first lunch date -- which happened on Dec. 30 -- the guy became increasingly hysterical and vulgar.

And after Yap's friend blocked W on WhatsApp, he continued to send her SMSes.

The string of messages started on WhatsApp around 10pm, on the same night as the first and last date on Dec. 30.

Timeline of conversation

Yap's friend was saying how they are not suitable for each other and to move on:

Just 10 minutes into the conversation, W started to get nasty and he threatened to lodge a complaint at her workplace.

W even sent Yap's friend photos of her he took from her Facebook page:

(***conscience. SMH.)

W then started to use vulgarities and even threatened to make a police report -- which didn't make sense because he was the one who kept messaging Yap's friend incessantly:

Blocked on WhatsApp, but continues cursing her entire family and on SMS and OkCupid

Yap's friend then blocked W on WhatsApp, but he continued to pester and curse her over SMS:

And from subsequent screenshots that Yap posted, it seems like W even managed to send messages to his one-off date on what looks like OkCupid, another dating app.

Judging by the time on the screen shots, it happened on the morning of Dec. 31 -- a day after their failed date:

Yap posted screenshots of his account and photos as well, to out him:

Other girls had similar experiences with W

When Yap shared this incident on her Instagram, this prompted other women to come forward with their own experiences with W:

Like when he found an excuse to caress one girl's feet:

A post of this incident was put up on Facebook on July 4, 2016, which was more than a year ago:

Another girl even feared for her life:

And another who met him on Tinder, and also blocked him on WhatsApp subsequently:

Blocked by another girl on WhatsApp:

A girl who received verbal abuse because she stopped replying him:

According to Yap, a police report has been made against W.
