This was after it emerged that SHINee's Kim Jonghyun's death was true as it spread worldwide.
Kim, who suffered from depression, was found lying in a room with a coal briquette burning on a frying pan.
His death has been ruled a suicide.

Even local singer, Benjamin Kheng from The Sam Willows, sent a few tweets sharing that he had just witnessed Kim's solo concert a week ago.

Fans helping one another
Some fans in Singapore have also gone the extra mile to help fellow Shawols cope with their loss.

Plans for memorial event on Dec. 20
Following in the footsteps of New York and the Philippines, a group of fans in Singapore have also organised a memorial for the fallen idol.

The memorial will be held at Hong Lim Park on Dec. 20 at 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Online registration is required beforehand.
More than 1,000 fans are expected to attend the event.
