Travellers going to and coming out of Changi Airport in January 2018, take note.
Sundays, Jan. 21 & 28, 2018
• 10 East-West Line MRT stations on Jan. 21 and Jan. 28, 2018, both Sundays, will be fully closed.
• Affected stations run between Paya Lebar and Pasir Ris MRT stations, as well as between Expo and Changi Airport stations.

• There will also be early closures on Fridays and Saturdays at 11pm and late openings at 8am on Saturdays and Sundays.
• In other words, train service on the eastern sector of EWL will be affected on all weekends in January 2018, as a result of maintenance and renewal works on the rail line.
Changi Airport shuttle bus
• A shuttle bus service will ferry travellers at Changi Airport.
• The shuttle bus waiting area will be located at Gate 8 of Terminal 3.
• However, shuttle buses do not have luggage compartments.
• Instead, travellers can place their luggage at the designated wheelchair and pram area.
• The Land Transport Authority is working with Changi Airport Group to put up directional signs to guide tourists and travellers to the bus pick-up points.
• Marshals will also be deployed on the ground at Changi Airport and all the other bus pick-up points to guide commuters.
• About 300 buses will be deployed to run the shuttle bus services on the two full days of closures.
• These buses will run at intervals of three to five minutes during peak periods, and five to 10 minutes for off-peak periods.

Trains will also arrive at longer intervals on the North-South Line late at night and early in the morning on weekends in January 2018. At these times, there will also be no service between City Hall and Raffles Place MRT stations on the NSL.
