A 34-year-old man, who tried to commit suicide, activated the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) in droves -- with some personnel arriving at the scene decked out in what looked like riot gear.
According to eyewitness videos of the incident posted on Facebook, the man attempting to jump could be heard ranting and creating a scene.
The incident dragged on for close to two hours before he jumped off and landed onto two giant inflatable cushions set up by the SCDF.
According to Channel 8 News, the incident occurred on Nov. 27, around 10am at Block 217 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1.
Making a scene
