Pasir Ris otters enrol at Tampines North Primary School

Probably before one of them was injured.

Seven otters were caught on CCTV scurrying out of Tampines North Primary School on Oct. 11.

The security camera caught the scene at the entrance of the school.

Pretty much like all of us when school ends.

Pasir Ris family

The otters were identified by OtterWatch as the Pasir Ris family.

This is the family that has one of its pups badly injured recently.

The otter pup was most likely not injured yet at that time when its family was scurrying across the school.

The injured pup was seen looking active and healthy with the rest of Pasir Ris family on Nov. 5 morning in a community park:

The metal wire that is cutting into the flesh of the pup is still wrapped around its torso.

Over the past few days, relevant agencies have been working together to try to rescue this pup for treatment but have not managed to do so.
