An otter family ended up at the Changi Airport tarmac during a heavy downpour.

A video of the otter family's antics was posted on Facebook on Nov. 14:

According to otter watchers, this group of otters are the Pasir Ris family.

Instead of turning left to Pasir Ris from Changi Creek, the otters were seen going inwards into the airport.

A total of nine of them were caught on video.

A Changi Airport Group (CAG) spokesperson said the Airside Safety team was activated to guide the otters safely out towards Changi Beach.

All over Singapore

Otters have been spotted all over the island increasingly as they venture into territory beyond their usual areas surrounding waterways.

Otters were recently spotted at Tampines North Primary School:

Previously, otters were also spotted at St Andrews Junior College.
