Two curious marina otter pups were caught approaching a monitor lizard at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, in a video shared by Jeff Tan on Nov. 4.

However, the cold-blooded lizard appeared to prefer some alone time as it whipped its tail to shoo the two curious otters away.

That did not stop the two cheeky siblings from stalking the monitor lizard for a while more though.

Most travelled otter family

It is heartening to see Marina otters being so spirited as it has not been easy for this particular group of otters to come so far.

Ever since the family lost their territory to Bishan otters, they have not been able to find a place to call home.

As a result, they have become the most travelled otter family on OtterWatch's record, going as far as Tanah Merah (east), Marina Bay (south), Bukit Timah (central) and Ulu Pandan (west) as detailed by this post:
