We've had rhino horns, tiger penises and Tongkat Ali but a Malaysian Minister thinks that another familiar treat can get your pecker up and keep it there for extended fun and games.

On Nov. 16, Malaysia's Agriculture Minister Ahmad Shabery Cheek called for more research into the use of durians as an aphrodisiac.

"I was told by a friend (who said) that research claimed that durian contained an aphrodisiac element and are said to be good for men. We will ask the relevant people to conduct more research into this matter."

Ahmad Shabery was answering a question in Parliament from Noor Azmi Ghazali (BN-Bagan Serai).

Noor Azmi had asked whether a comprehensive health study would be carried out on the health benefits of eating durians.

The Minister even mentioned a study from Singapore which said that durians are rich in potassium, which has health benefits.

Maybe this is all just a cunning plan to increase the exports of Malaysia's durians to other countries.

You never know what people are willing to eat to keep them going all night.
