YouTube personality and Ah Boys To Men actor Noah Yap saved up close to S$3,000 in coins over four years.

He shared his achievement in a Facebook post on Oct. 13, 2017:

He had to lug the coins in three separate bags to deposit them.

However, the deposit fee came up to S$90.30.

That's 3 percent of cost based on the total amount deposited.

This is so as the coin deposit machine charges a fee of S$1.20 per 100 coins, or S$0.012 per piece -- regardless of denomination.

So, for those of you who want to try this out: Do save up S$1 coins. It is more worth it.
