Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will depart from Singapore on Oct. 21 to make an official working visit to Washington D.C. until Oct. 26, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump.
And what's President Trump's views of Singapore?
This was what Trump said when PM Lee held his first bilateral meeting with Trump, at the sidelines of the G-20 Leaders’ Summit in Hamburg in July:
“Prime Minister of Singapore, we are very close in relationship. We are very close. And we expect to do some excellent things together in many ways. We have a very big relationship now and it will probably get much bigger. Thank you very much.”
Besides the meeting at July's G20 Summit, PM Lee also had three telephone conversations with Trump, the first in December 2016.
And PM Lee's views on Trump?
"I think he is confident of himself. There are things which he wants to do. He has a very set view of the world and of people. And we will work with him. He has been elected, he has a mandate from the American voters and he represents the United States of America." CNBC interview, Oct. 19
PM Lee will stay at Blair House as a guest of the US government.
PM Lee also stayed at the Blair House when he visited then President Barack Obama last year.

During the visit, PM Lee will meet Trump at the Oval Office, and be hosted by him to a bilateral working lunch together with Cabinet Secretaries and key White House officials.
Like PM's trip to China, he's also meeting the who's who of political US.
He will meet with:
1. Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan;
2. Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin;

8. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Member Ben Cardin; and
9. Minority Leader of the House of Representatives (and former Speaker) Nancy Pelosi
From the line-up, it appears that PM Lee is discussing business with the key economic leaders like Mnuchin, Ross; and Cohn.
In fact, PM Lee mentioned in a recent CNBC interview about a deal between Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Boeing to buy more planes.
Foreign relations and diplomacy is also on PM's agenda, with PM Lee meeting the key foreign policy leaders -- McCain, Corker, Cardin -- from both parties.
PM Lee will meet Singaporeans at a reception at the Singapore Embassy, speak at the Economic Club of Washington, and have a dialogue at the Council on Foreign Relations.
He will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Minister for Defence Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) S Iswaran, and Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) and Second Minister for Defence Ong Ye Kung.
