A woman who lost her mobile phone at the LiHo outlet in Bugis has put up a Facebook appealing the public for help.
On Oct. 29, Denise Neo was with a friend, buying a drink from the LiHo outlet in Bugis Junction. She left her phone, a Oppo R7s, behind on the counter. Unfortunately, when she realised it and returned a few minutes later, it was gone.
Neo was devastated. Not only was her phone gone, she also lost her identity card, debit cards, and EZ-Link card kept in the phone cover.
According to Neo, the manager at the LiHo outlet showed her the CCTV security camera footage subsequently, including photos and a video of the woman who allegedly took her phone.
What CCTV footage showed
Neo is the one wearing the black top and white skirt, while her friend is wearing the black top and jeans.
The woman who allegedly took the phone is wearing a grey top.
Neo's phone is in a black case, so it's hard to see against the black counter top. But you can see a corner sticking out that shows where the phone was located on the counter.
After the woman in the grey top paid for her drink, the phone doesn't appear to be on the counter anymore.

While using her Find My Device app later, Neo discovered that her phone's last known location was in the Bukit Panjang area, along Chestnut Avenue.
Neo said that the ordeal had left her unable to sleep and that she was "exhausted".
However, there was a silver lining as a helpful telco store manager allowed her to get her SIM card replaced free of charge.
Neo has made a police report, and hopes to get her phone back soon.
