Retweet.

Those who peruse Twitter know that there are a lot of rather inconsequential tweets going around.

This is our favourite.

Dope.

Something huge

Some Twitter conversations though, carry a bit more weight than others.

Take Singapore's quest to become a Smart Nation.

It was considered important enough to be one of the three issues touched on during the National Day Rally 2017.

And the man who made that speech, tweeted out some points we could improve on to achieve the mantle of a Smart Nation.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong acknowledged the presence of existing systems but bemoaned the lack of a uniform solution or payment system.

And that was supposed to be that, perhaps a six-month focus group to decide how many months a focus group should take would follow.

Only this time, someone tweeted back.

And that wasn't just some random Twitterbot.

Tan Min-Liang is actually the CEO of Razer, which is a Singapore computer hardware company co-founded by Tan, whose last round of venture capital investment valued them at $2 billion.

And surprise, surprise, PM answered.

Dope.

This whole exchange might have been less than an average of 140 characters per tweet, but the message it sends is profound.

Nice.
