Tasty is the food-porn wing of Buzzfeed.

The incredibly popular channel, with over 80 million page likes, recently listed 34 food items worth travelling the world for.

In it, they cover most regions pretty well.

They also placed a food item from Singapore on that list.

Namely this:

Yup, our beloved Singaporean creation, Din Tai Fung.

Now, most of you are probably thinking "Hey, Din Tai Fung isn't a Singaporean brand!"

You're not the only one.

In Buzzfeed's defence, and this is quite a stretch, they might have been referring specifically to Chilli Crab Xiao Long Bao, which is indeed, a uniquely Singapore offering.

Chilli Crab Xiao Long Baos are made with a pork meat base, topped with crab meat, and filled with a deep orange chilli crab-flavoured broth.

The pictures shown on that entry depict them — as opposed to regular Xiao Long Baos (pictured in the Instagram entry above), which are served in batches of six or 10 pieces, Chilli Crab Xiao Long Baos are served in fours, and are only available during the months of July and August in Singapore each year.

Either way, yay food.
