Football fan suggests Messi hold void deck wedding to not miss S'pore friendly

Always looking on the bright side.

To mark the 125th anniversary of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), Singapore is going to have a friendly match with the Argentina team on June 13.

However, Lionel Messi fans are in for what might be the worst news ever: The Argentinian forward will give the Singapore game a miss because he needs to plan for his wedding happening on June 30.

The relevant authorities are currently attempting to confirm whether this piece of news from an Argentinian media report is true.

Of course, if it is, it would be deeply unsettling for many Singapore fans, who are starting to either accept this piece of news as true or praying hard for a miracle -- because they have forked out good money for the match.

Some fans are already feeling that it was a ploy all along advertising Messi's presence in Singapore to get more people for the match.

One Singaporean guy, however, had to come up with this epic and uniquely Singapore solution.

Well, gentle durian persuasion might work as well.
