Ikea Singapore will stop selling its famed chicken wings at the cafes in their furniture stores from next Tuesday, May 23, for a period of time.

The Swedish furniture store said in a Facebook post on May 19 that it will improve on the quality of the wings before bringing them back.

Customer feedback about the wings prompted the removal from the menu.

Some of the feedback suggest that the wings taste different and are not as succulent in texture, as well as becoming smaller in size.

There is no fixed time line on when the item will be brought back. Ikea said they will be working with the supplier.

Ikea Singapore stores in Alexandra Road and in Tampines are popular eateries in Singapore for providing affordable meals.
