Coldplay wrote a song for S'pore

And it was swell.

The second Coldplay gig in Singapore on April 1, 2017, had the entire Sports Hub eating out of the band's hands again.

Playing two shows on two consecutive nights by selling out the same arena twice, a combined total of more than 100,000 people watched the British band live.

As Singapore evidently loves Coldplay, Coldplay in return showed their love for Singapore by writing a song for her.

In his typical wounded puppy vocals, frontman Chris Martin composed a little acoustic ditty that went something like that:

Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

We've played here four times before

But the way the crowd they roar

Means we're gonna play here a helluva lot of times more

Singapore, well there's no forgetting

For the whole gig I've been severely sweating

Singapore, where they cheer so well

But Singapore it's as hot as hell

Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

Won't you listen to that crowd they roar [Crowd roars]

Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

We've played here a lot, we're gonna play here, a lot more

Here are three angles of the song as shot by fans:

Coldplay has played Singapore four times in total and it sure looks like they will be back again.
