If you by chance happened to be outside (or looked out the window) on Saturday evening, you might have looked up at the sky and noticed this:

As the rain clouds from Saturday afternoon dissipated or departed in the evening, it's likely the band of clouds left behind was slanting and thin, which reflected more of the orange and red light of sunset in the lower atmosphere. The storm also washed off larger air particles, which usually dull the sky colour, allowing this dramatic filtering effect that we saw.
And the best part is, depending on where you are in Singapore, the gradation you see would differ, based on how the light travels in the air, as well as your individual eyesight. So in different areas, the sky was ombré pink, purple and violet all at the same time.
Just in case you missed it, here are some photos we found of the beautiful sky, all #nofilter because really, with these colours, who needs any?
Chio.
