But will they stay?

Heads up, people who dress themselves and their food up for Instagram: The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park (SAP) is the new place to tag and be tagged at.

Housed in refurbished colonial bungalows, the food enclave comprises of a handful of eateries, ranging from casual cafes to Chinese restaurants.

1. Wheeler's Estate

Opened by the same team behind Wheeler's Yard (keywords: blue doors, bicycles), the aesthetics of Wheeler's Estate promise the same instagrammable space.

Their menu, however, is a little more expensive than their original counterpart, with mains in the thirties. They have also received mixed reviews on taste and value.

Even if having another cafe in the area may seem superfluous, Wildseed's strains of Middle-Eastern influences on its menu (falafel, pita, etc.) do well to set it apart. From 4pm onwards, the space also accommodates a bar in its fold.

Again, while the place certainly has looks in its favour, the jury is out on the food.

On the second floor of the same bungalow lies The Summerhouse, a restaurant by an eponymous parent company that also manages Wildseed.

With its farm-to-table concept that supports local and regional farmers, the establishment brings a healthy and sustainable menu to the table.

Note: it only serves dinner and Sunday brunch, so plan your visit around it.
