Here's some great news to chase away the Monday blues, especially for the travel enthusiasts ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
With 156 visa-free destinations, Singapore passport is the second most powerful passport in the world, alongside Sweden, according to the World Passport Index ranking for this year.
Compared with the most powerful passport, Germany's, which gains entry to 157 visa-free destinations, the Singaporean traveller needs a visa for some South American countries (Bolivia, Guyana, Paraguay, Venezuela), African countries (Ethopia, Sao Tome and Principe) and Ukraine. The countries we enjoy an edge over the Germans, though, include China, Cuba, Ghana, Myanmar and North Korea.
Not too shabby, all things considered.
Here's how our neighbours ranked on the list:
Malaysia's is at #5.
Thailand comes in at #54.
