In what could be a first in Singapore, a man has been caught on camera resisting the confiscation of his e-scooter by repeatedly smashing it on the ground.
A pair of videos posted on Facebook on Jan. 1, 2017, is giving new meaning to the saying, "Cut my nose off to spite my face". They show the man speaking in Mandarin, or a variant of it, and refusing to turn his e-scooter in to what looks like a Land Transport Authority officer in uniform:
If he can't have it, no one else can. #ragequit
