There are a lot of bloggers writing a lot of reviews, and in those reviews, there might be a grammatical mistake once in a while.

Some of us laugh at the mistakes, others cringe, but most of us just accept it as an inevitable drawback of the Internet rendering anything publishable.

But one Facebook page is trying to shame the grammatical mistakes out of the blog posts.

Enter the aptly named "Singaporean Influencers and Bloggers Write SHIT English and are Annoying AF" or SIBWSEAA.

This is their profile picture.

What do they write about?

Well, their content mostly revolves around how "Singaporean Influencers and Bloggers write SHIT English".

And according to one of their Facebook posts, they aren't looking for Shakespearean prose — just competent English.

The rants on SIBWSEAA tend to stick to a simple template.

1) Take a sentence from a blog post, in this case IEATANDEAT:

Meat just fell off from the bone and tenderly texture absorbed all the essence of the flavoursome gravy, it is such a mamma mia that we are sold at the first bite.

2) Point out everything wrong with it:

What is 'tenderly texture'? 'Tenderly' is not a substitute for 'tender'! Unless you mean the meat's texture touched your cheek gently...

'Flavoursome gravy'? You mean 'flavourful',

What is a 'mamma mia'?

'We are sold at the first bite'. You mean 'we were sold from the first bite'.

Located just across the Capitol Theatre, 1933 was not hard to find – smack right in the center of Capitol building, the place was barely five minutes from the MRT. It adopts a rather chic retro feel to the place, with a glass facade dining area on the second level. The décor is very minimalistic and in tune with the said era, matching the Romanian architecture to the Capitol Building.

Here is the smackdown.

1) 'Right smack' not 'smack right'.

2) You know how to use 'décor' but not 'façade'.

3) Romanian???

Take this other line from the blog:

I like how 1933 has a niche in continually able to create dips/sauces with multiple dimensions into them.

This sentence elicited this response.

'a niche in continually able to create'.... what? 狗屁不通。(Translation: Your attempt at communication is like a dog having constipation.)

A Thai-styled seafood salad with distinct Thai flavors! We were fans of this dish and I was heartened by their use of fresh prawns instead of the frozen ones. It's really unique, with minced pork bits and their special Thai dressing.
