A wild JJ Lin spotted playing DotA 2 in Bugis LAN shop during Singtel's islandwide broadband disruption

Even celebrities (who may or may not be Singtel broadband subscribers) aren't spared.

A rare spawn has popped up on our Go radar!

Nope, it isn't Ditto, but something a little more humanoid and possesses a vocal range wider than Jigglypuff's.

Mandopop fans playing LAN on Saturday, December 3 (aka the day a large swathe of Singapore lost their WiFi connection because they were Singtel customers), possibly because their internet at home was down, were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of local singer/songwriter/Mandopop star JJ Lin.

According to WeiBo user ZhangJLY, Lin was spotted playing DotA 2 at the OASIS Netcafe located at PoMo on Saturday evening.

Posting pictures of an autograph and a receipt from the actual day, ZhangJLY said, "JJ was sitting right beside me at the LAN shop!"

Starstruck moment indeed.

Photos of Lin at the Internet cafe were also posted to Taiwanese Next Magazine's Hu Pu forum by a user going by the name Hokming.

According to Hokming's account, while there were fans of his waiting outside the toilet for him, they did not interrupt him during his game. So respectful.

He also mentioned the possibility that the singer went to the LAN shop because of the islandwide disruption, which stretched roughly into Sunday evening.

We can't verify if Lin himself is a Singtel broadband subscriber, though.

Fans of Lin, you have been informed — or maybe if you're reading this, JJ, guess you'll have to find another LAN shop to frequent.
