Singaporeans love to find new places to sit down and chill out with food and coffee.
But the F&B scene out there changes so quickly that anyone can hardly keep up.
So, we've complied it once before and we've done it again -- here's a list of updated halal cafes and restaurants in Singapore.
This time, we've arranged it by location for you. You're welcome.
East
1. Penny University
402 East Coast Road Singapore 428997
Look at how instagrammable that is. They also serve coffee in jars. Wouldn't come as a surprise in a place that looks like this.
2. Royz et Vous
750 Chai Chee Road #01-16, Viva Business Park, Singapore 469000
Crispy, crispy, fried chicken skin. Hmmm.
This place is famous for coffee. Also, they've got non-alcoholic wine. Perfect for dinner dates or proposals.
3. Comestivel Desserts
55 Siglap Road, Siglap Centre, B1-11/12 Singapore 455871
Just look at that. You can already taste it in your mouth, can't you?
4. Olivye Cafe
Blk 5 Changi Village Road #01-2009 Singapore 500005
Another reason to go to Changi Village. There's Pokémon and cafe food with funky gelato flavours. Yay.
5. The Royals Cafe

Have you ever tried Ayam Masak Merah Spaghetti? Probably not. They also have all-day breakfast. Certified hipster.
The first cafe is at 19 Upper East Coast Road Crescendo Building, beside Jalan Tua Kong. The Simei location is the second one. They have a third outlet called The Royals Steakhouse, which specialises in serving steak, of course.
6. Toasties

This is the halal version of Subway -- they make their own bread and serve drumlets. Already better than Subway.
If you live in the west, they have an outlet in Clementi as well. Fantastic.
7. Alt-Yard

This place is a desserts and specialty coffee bar by halal cafes Penny University and Fluff Bakery. More importantly, they sell churros. And as if that isn't good enough, they also make ice cream churros. Win.
Central
8. Flavour Flings
121 Hougang Avenue 1 #01-1348 Singapore 530121
Guys, look. They have the Raclette cheese wheel thingy. Gooey, hot cheese being scrapped onto your waiting plate. This is one place where you will die and go to cheese heaven.
They also have a lot of salted egg items on the menu. #justsaying.
9. FIX cafe
31 Ah Hood Rd, HomeTeamNS-JOM Clubhouse, Singapore 329979
This halal Mexican food place will have you going ga-ga over its rustic vibe. Another reason why you should go -- that perfection of an egg on a bed of chicken.
10. Badoque Cafe
246 Upper Thomson Rd Singapore 574370/ 298 Bedok Road Singapore 469454
Look at that huge piece of steak. They also sell beef ribs. Have you even seen that before?
Easties, rejoice. There's an outlet in Simpang Bedok too.
West
11. Lynn's Cakes & Coffee

They have cupcakes, artisan coffee and tea, and really really beautiful cakes. Almost makes you not want to eat it. Except you absolutely do.
12. ButterScotch

Chendol cake and ondeh ondeh cake. 'Nuff said.
North
13. Le Steak by Chef Amri

Yet another steak place on the list. For dessert, they serve lemon curt tarts and Belgium waffles. Steak lovers, we expect you to eat your way around the island.
14. Citrus By The Pool

Ain't nobody got time to travel two hours to town just to eat by the beach or marina bay or whatever. Just head down to Citrus By The Pool. It has an alfresco area so it's sorta the same ambience, but cheaper. #yaassss

15. I Am Cafe

Don't play play. They serve all things rainbow here. And turkey ham.
16. The Mad Sailors

Are we still in Singapore? Why so nice. So instagrammable.
Halal British food ya'll. This is what the quaint looking joint sells. Mad stuff.
17. La Marelle

Any cafe that looks like this warrants a visit. They got cakes, pasta and stuff on the wall.
18. Afterwit Mexican Taqueria

More Mexican food. This one has nasi lemak burritos too. And nachos served on trays.
19. Fluff Bakery

Cupcakes <3 So pretty. Much gorgeous.
20. Wilder

Salted egg chicken in a kung ba pao? Expresso that looks like that? Such cool, much hipster. The only expresso we know comes in a tiny, sad looking cup.
21. Cake Delights

22. All Things Delicious

A hipster cafe with galaxy donuts and drinks served in conical flasks that's absolutely outta this world.
25. Fika

Here, you get to sit in peace and enjoy Scandinavian food without long lines of people and children running about. *ahem*
26. Butter Studio

27. Kaw Kaw SG

Kaw Kaw is a famous burger joint that hails from Kuala Lumpur. They specialise in making tall and thick burgers. Like so.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
28. Hyde & Co.

Brunches till 5pm and this salted egg yolk mac and cheese WITH crawfish. Now that's wild.
