In case you've been living under a rock, America and the world are reeling from the shock Trump win in the U.S. presidential election.
That's right, Donald Trump is the President-elect of the Free World, courtesy of the American people.
For months, the race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had seemed to be neck-to-neck, and the world had been anxious to try to predict the outcome, including the animal world.
Here are three animals who managed to predict the Trump victory correctly. They deserve a cookie:
Chanakya II the fish
Chanakya the Flowerhorn Chiclid was given three tries to pick out a presidential candidate. All three times, the fish swam up to the portrait of Trump. This fish's bulbous forehead really adds to its psychic look. Good job!
Geda the monkey
According to the Shiyanhu Ecological Tourism Park, Geda the monkey was given the choice between bunches of bananas placed in front of life-sized cardboards of Trump and Clinton. Geda chose the bananas in front of Trump and even gave him a wet kiss. Aww.
According to reports, Geda the monkey had previously correctly predicted Portugal to win the 2016 European football championships in the very same way. Amazing.
Felix the polar bear
Felix the polar bear from Siberia had to choose between two pumpkins filled with fresh meat and fish. He chose the one with Trump's name carved on it, and pulled the flag out.
The Losers
Of course in every game, there are always winners and losers. This couple of animals didn't get it right, but hey, they can always try again in four years' time.
Yunona the tiger
Coming from the same Siberian zoo, Yunona the tiger, unfortunately, did not possess the same psychic skills as Felix the polar bear. Faced with similar pumpkins stuffed with meat and fish, the non-clairvoyant feline went for Clinton.
It's ok buddy, we know how you feel.
Boots the goat
Boots the goat successfully predicted the outcome of Brexit (God save them all). However this round of prediction shows that past accolades aren't everything. He chose Clinton over Trump and is probably mulling over his sad performance in his barn right now.
