Even if we're basically glued to the internet these days, some things from the good ol' TV just stick around. Presenting 10 songs (and a bonus at the end) from Channel 8 shows that we somehow still remember the lyrics to:

1. Stepping Out (出路)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

This is a classic, ok? Complete with lyrics for a sing-along session.

2. Wok of Life (福满人间)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Ann Kok all cutsey? Worth a watch.

Plus:

If you could sing the entire string of baos you'd be the boss of your siblings/cousins.

3. Holland V (荷兰村)

Doesn't matter which of the Mo sisters was your favourite; everyone knew the opening to the Holland V - NA NA NA NA

4. Tofu Street (豆腐街)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Perfect for all the moon-gazing emo nights.

5. The Dream Makers (志在四方)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Probably the newest song on this list, but strangely catchy despite its slow pace.

6. The Little Nonya (小娘惹)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Even if you spent half the series confused about Xiang Yun's character, you could still appreciate this delicate tune.

7. The Coffee Shop (咖啡乌)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

No idea what the rest of the song was about, but the chorus definitely lingers.

8. Don't Worry Be Happy (敢敢做个开心人)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Another song with references to Kopi-O, our national beverage!

9. Comedy Night (搞笑行动)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Liang Po Po was probably more popular in her day than the merlion ever was as a national icon to Singaporeans.

10. Cupid Love (七月俏佳人)

" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

Cupid whaaaat? If you have a hard time recalling the TV movie, all you have to do is listen to the soundtrack. Some would even go to the extent of arguing that 关怀方式 made the show famous.
