Early risers the next morning on Nov. 15 were also hugely rewarded: There was a significant increase in sightings from the early morning, just before the sun rose at 6.47am.
If you're feeling jealous that you can't get a deep and thoughtful Instagram post a nice photo of the moon, don't fret.
Tonight's moon on Nov. 15 won't differ much in size, though you're going to be waiting a little longer, as the moon will rise one hour or later, at 7.47pm, and will set at 7.18am tomorrow.
You'll be able to also see another supermoon, albeit smaller in size on Dec. 14, 2016.
Happy moon-viewing!
