Chun Cui He will be introducing new flavour on Nov. 22. We don't know if it is milk tea.

The hype is real.

The bottled milk tea and latte that had people camping at 7-Eleven stores at 3am to wipe out its stock is set to release a new flavour next Tuesday (Nov. 22).

The Chun Cui He Singapore Instagram account posted a teaser three days ago asking its followers to guess among four flavours (Black Mix Oolong, Mandheling, Green Milk Tea and Sumiyaki), which was coming to Singapore.

Although Chun Cui He was all the rave in July, its milk tea variant was pulled off shelves because it contained an additive, L-theanine, that is not permitted in Singapore. It could take up to a year to get approval for the milk tea to be brought back in. L-theanine is commonly found in tea leaves.

Of the four flavours featured on the Instagram post, Mandheling and Sumiyaki are coffee-based and the other two tea-based.

Perhaps the new flavour will be coffee-based along with the existing Chun Cui He Latte?
