A cat was visibly relieved after witnessing the dramatic rescue of its cat friend stuck in a tree in Little India.

The video was shared by the Cat Welfare Society:

The incident happened last Wednesday, Oct. 26.

According to the video details, the young man on the ladder is an enforcement officer from the Land Transport Authority.

He had promptly climbed up the ladder to soothe the scared kitty cat on the tree.

The cat was witnessed to be calm as it had probably sensed that help had arrived as it allowed the man to scoop it up and bring it to safety.

Another cat was waiting on the ground as the rescue unfolded.

The LTA enforcement officer has been hailed as a hero and CWS is trying to identify him.
