Even though Mediacorp stopped broadcasting the finals on national television since 2008, the Miss Singapore Universe pageant continues every year through a closed-door selection process, trying to maintain the same glitz and glamour with a smaller audience pool.
This year is no exception, the venue being at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel's Grand Ballroom on October 16.
Wanna go?
Here's how much it'll cost: $800 per pair, $3,888 per table.
According to the marketing arm of the pageant, which is organised by The New Paper, $800 includes the programme and a "sumptuous four-course dinner".
And here's the programme they shared with us:
7.30pm Start
Opening show by the top 15
Show stopping bikini segment with Sezairi Sezali
A flute & a piece of loop with Rit Xu, Singaporean jazz flutist
Gown segment & Q&A fun with the top 15
Chart topper Sezairi Sezali performs
Q&A with the top 7
Acknowledging the judges and sponsors
Victory Parade
10.30pm Ends
We just thought we'd show you some other concerts that are coming up in Singapore and their ticket prices for comparison:
A) Air Supply's VIP Box seats
Price: $698 for 4 tickets
B) Hyuna's VIP Mosh Pit Package
Price: $228 for one ticket
C) The Scorpions' 50th Anniversary concert standing pen tickets
Price: $168
But of course, none of the above compares to the "love & support" you'll be giving the girls in your purchase of the tickets:
But yeah, just so you know, in case you were thinking of going.
