The Singapore Management University (SMU) made its debut in the respectable 431 to 440 band in the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) global university rankings 2016/2017.

The 16-year-old university is ranked 95th in Asia, earning its highest scores for its international faculty ratio.

In comparison, the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have been ranked 12 and 13 position globally, respectively.

National University of Singapore (NUS) - Asia's TOP UNIVERSITY and 12 BEST GLOBALLY

In case they did not make it clear enough about their ranking dominance -- notice the words "Top, Best and Global" in caps. Oh yes, they are also FIRST in Singapore.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Since NTU is clearly not the top ranked university in Singapore, they decided to claim first in Singapore for research instead.

SMU did not mention about their QS rankings on its Facebook page or Twitter account.

But it's okay, SMU graduates and academics.

You still have the world’s 17th top law school...

... building.
