At a ceremony held on August 7, a vision of what the new Funan IT mall will look like after its renovations in 3 years time was unveiled.

-Climb Central (A rock climbing outlet)

The new Funan mall will host a wide range of sports themed stores and activities, including indoor cycling lanes.

1 floor will be dedicated to IT, but even that floor will have "workshops and other interactive elements" within it.

This has caused a wide range of emotions among netizens.

Reactions to the redesign

Some quickly zoomed in on the 1 floor IT product space.

Others noted that the new redesign made Funan a little less special.

And a few loved the idea of having cyclists hanging around in the new indoor cycling lanes.

A Redditor captured the grievance many had with the new redesign of the mall.

And another pointed out his one mistake.

Because that is what draws in customers, having the exact same appeal as every other one of your competitors.
