Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong gave Singaporeans across the island a mighty scare when he wavered and stumbled an hour and 20 minutes into his scheduled two-hour English speech during his National Day Rally (NDR).
One would notice Ho Ching, the wife of PM Lee, hurrying to the exit with the security officer after the conclusion of NDR.
According to The Straits Times, MP Alex Yam told reporters that PM Lee left ITE College Central (the NDR rally venue) and had headed to Singapore General Hospital for a check-up.
Ho started sharing NDR-related articles on her Facebook page at 12.03am, including articles on the NDR from ChannelNewsAsia and the People's Action Party (PAP).
Let's hope that both Ho and PM Lee will get an early rest tonight.
