Big Splash at East Coast Park is closing down soon.
The announcement on their Facebook page states that the lease will expire in October 2016 and the site will be returned to the government for redevelopment.
However, according to The Straits Times, the premises will close its doors on Sept. 21, when its lease with the National Parks Board (NParks) expires.
No details are available with regards to redevelopment plans.
The 21 tenants have either sought lease extensions or will be moving to various locations by different dates.
Big Splash was built in 1977 and has been in operation for close to 40 years. It was known for having the tallest water slides in Singapore.
