The cogs of time are ever turning. Besides the demise of the old Bedok Interchange and the old hawker centre beside it, the next victim of time is the McDonald's outlet that occupies the first floor of the old Princess Cinema at Bedok.
News of this first came to light on Facebook, when Syafuan Sarif shared a photograph of the closure notice. The post has since been shared over 450 times.
This was what was written on the notice in case you can't view the image:

Syafuan had this to say about the closure:
After many years, the time is almost at an end for McDonald's @ Princess/Bedok Interchange.
28th August will be the closing day for this outlet.
Many memories has been shared and I had a great time during its years of operation.
What else can people say about the closure but wax lyrical about time passing them by:
This writer remembers the lack of a queue at this branch when the first Hello Kitty toys were introduced at midnight Jan 1, 2000, right after the Y2K countdown.
Bye bye, yet another semi-iconic McDonald's.
