A woman, who is most likely a member of the public, appeared to have put a Land Transport Authority enforcement officer in his place by reminding him that he is working for the government and should not be acting in a rash manner:
This was after a video uploaded onto Facebook showed a verbal altercation happening between a car driver and an LTA officer.
The woman, who was filming, then stepped forward to intervene.
The driver and LTA officer were speaking in dialect, with one of them remarking in Hokkien: "I will beat you up".
Halfway through the video, the LTA officer was seen opening the car door but was stopped by the woman, who said: "You're working for the government, you don't behave this way."
The LTA officer then explained himself: "He want to hammer me, ask him to come out."
The car then drove off.
It is not known when the incident occurred but the video was posted on July 2, 2016.
