This is what happens when you don't follow the two-second rule on the road and brake late:

A Land Transport Authority enforcement officer was caught on video failing to brake on time and crashing into the back of a car along Tampines Ave 9.

Based on the date stamp on the video, the incident took place on June 20, 2016.

And judging by the speedometer on the video, the vehicles on the road were travelling at around 40km/h at that time when the accident happened.

Video reactions

Reactions to the video have been split down the middle, with some criticising the LTA enforcement officer for not following the two-second safe distance rule, while others were more sympathetic.

Once again, the accident was thankfully caught on camera for posterity and eventual claims purposes.
