IDA getting personal.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore is hiring. And they are replacing one employee in particular.

Here is their ad on two different job portals:

Monster.com Monster.com

JobsDB.com JobsDB.com

However, both ads were subsequently removed from Monster.com and JobsDB minutes after it got highlighted in various forums (here and here).

In our bid to promote non-discriminatory hiring and firing practices and improve the pool of candidates who apply to work in the public sector, we will help IDA highlight their potential hire's job scope:

Singapore is aspiring to be not just a Smart City, but a Smart Nation, underpinned by Data and Analytics. As a leading organisation and Singapore's Government CIO, IDA is taking a clear leadership role in building Singapore into a Smart Nation. We welcome interested professionals to join us in this journey.

Other things to note, according to IDA: You will need a bachelor (sic) degree in Computer Science and conceptualise strategies to spur the growth of SMEs by facilitating those within the same sector to embark on the adoption.

Here is how one meme has interpreted the personalistion of the job ad:
