Five points for sportsmanship.

This is John David Pahoyo. He is the 17-year-old diver from the Philippines.

This was what he did on the 3-metre springboard at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on June 6:

His botched dive was right after he had grinned into the camera at his friend's zero-point dive just before him:

The best part is that he will forever be immortalised on video because of this SEA Games 2015:

But not that he is taking things badly.

Pahoyo himself also thought his own botched dive was hilarious.

Leaving a comment on the video above, he wrote:

Pahoyo has since posted a video on his own Facebook page of him and compatriot John Elmerson Fabriga executing a successful dive in the men's synchronised 3-metre springboard, with the caption, "Why share our failed dives when you can share the dives that we did well?"

Thank you for making this SEA Games 2015 more than just winning gold medals.
