Simulated arrest of someone piloting unauthorised drone in S'pore is acting at its finest

This National Day Parade 2017 has been gazetted as a special event under the Public Order Act.

What this means is that on Aug. 9, the flying of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) like drones are prohibited, unless the pilot has a permit. This will be in effect for 24 hours.

As part of a security exercise ahead of NDP 2017, the police demonstrated how they would take down a pilot flying an unregistered drone into the area, which Channel NewsAsia filmed and uploaded onto Facebook on Aug. 3:
